Site Purpose
The concept of Webmathetics concerns discipleship over the web and developing disciplines to promote Print and Web design principles that honor the Lord Jesus Christ.
Students press forward to new horizons
I am Richard Ritchie. From 1999 to 2009 I taught Web and DTP courses at the Indianapolis Training Center, a part of IBLP and ATI. Course credit was offered through an association with The TELOS Institute International and Verity Institute. Students taking these courses have come from all points of the globe (except Antartica). They came with a great variety of skill levels, but my joy in teaching the classes was to see the quick improvements each student made at their respective degree of acumen.
Transitions
Transitions alert us to a change in the tools Jesus is using to shape us into His image. The Desktop Publishing and Web Design Courses will no longer be offered at the Indianapolis Training Center, so that means that this site will soon be changing its focus, but not its purpose. For now, I will keep the Course Info page up in case anyone wants to see what courses were offered.
Alumni
Many of my students have continued to surpass their teacher. The Alumni section provides a place for alumni of the Web and DTP courses to give us news updates and links to the sites they have created. The Christian Walk section will have encouragement information and helps in discipleship. It now has some links to other good sites.
